About the role

Surgical admission at the Box Hill Hospital is seeking an experienced Ward Clerk to provide friendly and supportive customer service to patients, visitors and staff. This is an exciting and pivotal role where your team and customer service skills will be highly valued. Ward Clerks at Eastern Health provide outstanding customer care to patients, visitors and staff and are an essential part of the ward team. Surgical admissions at Box Hill provides day admissions, day recovery (Adult & Paediatric) and 24 hours’ overnight admissions. We are looking for a passionate ward clerk with sound interpersonal and communication skills to join our friendly team

About you

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Computer competent with excellent working knowledge of patient management systems

Microsoft word and Excel experience

Advance telephone and clerical skills

Ability to provide quality customer service in a friendly and professional manner

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills
