The Park & Rivers Edge are two dynamic and renowned function and event venues specialising in creating unforgettable experiences for our clients. We are dedicated to delivering top-notch event planning and coordination services, and we are looking for a talented and motivated Function and Events Manager to join our team.

As a Function and Events Manager at The Park & Rivers Edge, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of events, from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social gatherings. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for event coordination will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our clients' events.
- Lead a team of event coordinators and support staff, providing guidance and direction.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event goals, needs, and preferences.
- Oversee event logistics, including catering, decor, audio-visual equipment, and transportation.
- Create comprehensive event plans and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Manage event set-up, execution, and pack down, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience.
- Provide on-site leadership during events, addressing issues and ensuring client and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement event marketing and promotion strategies to maximize attendance.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and continuously improve our event services.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance our offerings.
- Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar managerial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in event planning software and tools.
- A genuine passion for delivering remarkable event experiences.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
