The role offers lots of opportunity for training & career development in the field of lubrication with the principal manufacturers & technology partners overseas.

We are seeking a committed, passionate and self-motivated individual to join us on this exciting journey. You must demonstrate strong commercial acumen, a love of sales and the ability to independently organise and prioritise demands. You will bring with you a strong existing technical understanding of oil and lubricants that you have built in previous roles.

Your experience may come from selling oil and lubricants or from operating in a more technical role, either way you must be able to ‘hit the ground running’ with demonstrated industry technical knowledge and sales experience.

Your focus in the role initially will be to take ownership of establishing distribution network across Western region of Melbourne and then across several states in Australia. This will include building and maintaining distributor relationships, addressing distributor technical questions and assisting with training. You will undertake monthly reporting and maintain our CRM system as well as field technical questions from our Sales Team.

Initially the role will be focused on the Western region of Melbourne but will soon expand to other corners of the state. Once travel restrictions ease within Australia, there will be an opportunity for travel, and you will likely be on the road for 2 to 3 days each week either interstate or intrastate visiting and selling to distributors and end clients.

This is a critical role for our business and will report directly to the Director of the Business.

**Who will be successful**:

- You must have an engineering Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Instrumentation engineering.
- You must have experience working with oil and lubricants in a technical capacity and be able to translate technical information to answer customers queries.
- You have demonstrated experience in identifying, targeting and onboarding new business.
- You will draw on your sales experience and know what it takes to support distributors and assist them to sell to their end users.
- You will thrive on a challenge and love an environment where you are given a lot of autonomy to get the job done.
- A strong communicator, you will be able to readily develop, maintain and grow sales relationships with distributors and end users as well as work collaboratively with the internal team.
- Importantly, you are passionate about the oil and lubricant industry and helping us build our company in Australia.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
