Are you ready to drive growth in the powder coatings market? We're seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our team at AkzoNobel, Sunshine VIC, Australia, you'll report to the Senior State Sales Manager, Powder Coatings, and play a crucial role in managing activities through current and target powder coating accounts. If you're self-motivated, driven, and passionate about delivering sustained profit and growth, this is the role for you

We will count on you to:

Develop and implement sales strategies, reporting to the Senior State Sales Manager, to grow market share and meet sales targets. Meet sales volume, value, and gross margin goals for the assigned territory, aiming for enhanced profitability. Maintain relationships within the State and Regional powder coating markets to maximise new sales opportunities. Manage current and potential Powder Coatings key accounts, including Fabricators & Applicators, adhering to AkzoNobel sales policies, to drive sustained profit and business growth. Gather market intelligence to identify Powder Coatings opportunities in the State, aligning with AkzoNobel Business Principles to expand customer base and market share. Meet Health, Safety, Environment, and 5S targets to provide a safe work environment.

What would you bring to the table?

For this role, we're seeking candidates with:

Previous industry experience in the coatings industry, with technical sales preferred. Thorough knowledge of company products, systems, and application techniques. Good communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Self-motivated and driven individual with a proactive approach to achieving goals. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team. Strong customer focus with a dedication to providing excellent service. Adaptability to navigate diverse customer needs and market dynamics. Willingness to travel regionally as required.
