Our client is a global boutique fund manager that places great importance on ‘quality and value’ in investing. They now seek a Fund Compliance Analyst to support senior management with managing the day-to-day risk and compliance functions of the business. This will include delivering Line 2 operational risk management, fund and regulatory compliance and Operational Due Diligence (ODD).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identifying key risks and overseeing management to comply with risk registry and frameworks;
- Monitoring incidents, breaches, and complaints & liaising with the business to embed controls;
- Providing advice and enhancing existing policies, processes and procedures; AND
- Monitor audit (internal/external) programs, and ensure accuracy for administrational tasks.

**Technical Skills & Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Risk, Legal, or related field (required);
- RG146 compliant;
- Demonstrated experience in financial services, specifically in compliance, risk management in relation to financial services and operations;
- A strong competency of the financial services industry, including regulatory context, and regulatory reforms (i.e., ASIC, APRA etc);
- An ability to extract and interpret data as required for regular ad hoc stakeholder reporting;
- A strong capability to demonstrate a flexible approach and a willingness to view challenges or unfamiliar events positively and to adapt quickly;
- An ability to improve existing processes, procedures and/or decision making, including identifying progressive ways to improve quality, accuracy, reliability and/or timeliness;
- A sound knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements or appropriate industry standards; AND
- Demonstrated sound organisation and time management skills, with an ability to organise/prioritise tasks and work efficiently and independently.
