Long-term temporary assignment/contract for 12 months, working with one of Australia's largest and leading Not-For-Profit's providing long-term community/social housing to people with low to moderate income across Sydney.

I am urgently seeking an experienced Housing Manager in Community/Social Housing for 12-month temporary assignment, to start ASAP. You will be managing a portfolio of 180 community housing properties in Guilford area and based at the Parramatta office (12 mins for the properties). Days of work are Monday to Friday only, no weekend work, hours 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm with the option to WFH. Hourly rate is $52.81/hr + Superannuation and you will have a fleet car to use for work.

The primary objectives of this role will be assessing tenants for eligibility, managing lease and tenancy agreements, reviewing rental rates and adjustment, overseeing property maintenance, inspections and any tenant enquires or disputes. You will be supported by a very experienced and highly caring team and manager, to offer guidance and help as you need it.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Proactively manage portfolio of 180 properties
- Encouraging and undertaking resident consultation to ensure the delivery of customer focused services for residents.
- Manage and responding to tenant enquires and complaint or grievances.
- Conduct regular property inspections.
- Working collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure the upkeep of all properties.
- Monitor rental and non-rental accounts including early intervention in arrears recovery.
- Preparation of NCAT paperwork when required.
- Ensure vacant properties are filled to this organisations standards.
- Contribute to FACS and other compliance reporting requirements in a timely manner.
- General administrative duties - reports, letters etc.

**What you need**:

- Certificate IV or higher in Social Housing or related field
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the social & community housing sector
- Ability to effectively plan & organize your workload & establish priorities
- Experience working with CALD communities
- Ability to effectively communicate with challenging customer's
- Strong MS Office, word, excel and outlook
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- Current drivers' licence
