My client is one of Sydney's most highly accomplished Community Housing Providers who specialize in supporting women and their children. Their purpose is to empower women to improve their lives through the provision of housing that is affordable and provide them with quality, safe, and stable housing and homelessness services.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Case Manager to work with one of Australia's most highly regarded homelessness specialist services, entirely dedicated to supporting women and their children. Based in Liverpool, you will be providing case management to women living in refuge or transitional housing who may have experienced domestic and family violence, mental health issues and substance abuse. You will be an integral member of a small team, working closely together enabling you to have collegiate assistance. when required. Each Case Manager has the freedom to work autonomously in the community with your clients but always have the direct support of a very experienced Manager when needed.
**Please note for this specific role being female is a genuine occupational requirement (Section 31 Anti-Discrimination Act 1977)**
**What you need to be successful**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications ie Diploma of Community Services; Bachelor of Community Welfare; Bachelor of Social Science
- Minimum 3 years' case management experience working in the homelessness sector
- Demonstrated ability to work with women experiencing domestic and family violence; mental health issues; and substance abuse issues
- Experience in the delivery of case management to women requiring crisis and supported accommodation and outreach services
- Have a sound working knowledge of Client Information Management System (CIMS) Database
- Mandatory National Criminal History Check and current Working With Children Check
- NSW Driver's License
