**The Opportunity**

Southern Highlands Private Hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Wardsperson / Orderly to provide support across our busy perioperative department and our surgical/medical ward.

We have casual hours available on a weekly basis, varying from morning to afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday mornings.
- This role will involve, but is not limited to: _
- Transporting patients to and from Theatre
- Transporting patients within the hospital or between our hospital & the public hospital
- Pathology specimen transport
- Assisting in the day-to-day functions of the wards
- Delivering linen to departments
- Removing rubbish and linen

**About You**

You are a motivated individual and bring a client-first attitude with a desire to assist our staff and patients in obtaining the best possible outcomes.
- You will also bring:_
- Certificate III in Health Services highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in Operating Theatres or as a Wardsperson is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all patients, visitors and hospital staff.
- Ability to perform a physically demanding role.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively following directions.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
