**Project Officer**
- _Salary: $91,418 to $103,725 (Plus Superannuation)_
- _Fixed term role until 30 June 2025_
- _Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)_
- _Usual work location: Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available)_

Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Delivery Unit, the Project Officer's role is to contribute to the delivery of targeted capital and maintenance projects within the Infrastructure Delivery team by providing administrative and operational support.

The responsibilities of the Project Officer include, but are not limited to:

- Project management and support Ensures project objectives are met by producing detailed project plans, identifying logical next steps and monitoring the progress of projects.
- Stakeholder management and communications Uses understanding of the stakeholder's organisational context to ensure outcomes are achieved; Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to contribute to the achievement of common goals; Elicit and provide information and communications to program stakeholders; Initiate and maintain relationships with peers, internal and external project stakeholders; Manage relationships with and between program or project stakeholders.
- Provides expert advice and support on infrastructure delivery requirements; Assist in the development and administration of asset management related components of consultancy contracts; Demonstrates management of infrastructure priorities and project delivery.

- Specialist expertise for infrastructure delivery Provides expert advice on infrastructure projects and asset delivery requirements
- Conceptual and analytical ability Deals with concepts and complexity comfortably; Has creative ideas and can project how these can link to innovations; Uses analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems; Understand complex data sets and analyse to support information requests and provide situational clarification; Confidently convey, both verbally and written, complex concepts and information to suit the target audience.

A tertiary qualification in a related field and relevant administrative, government or business experience will be well regarded.
