Volunteer Receptionist/admin Support Role

Frankston, Australia Life-Gate Inc. Full time

**Life-Gate is seeking the services of a receptionist in an administrative support role for 10-15 hours per week. This is a volunteer (unpaid) position that will primarily support the office by liaising and reporting to relevant governmental departments, as well as assisting with event planning and general office support.**

**This is a volunteer position with great potential to provide you with practical workplace experience.**

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Working within a small and friendly team
- General phone duties including answering and directing calls
- Corresponding and reporting to government departments such as the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission, Consumer Affairs, the Council and the Magistrates Court
- Grant writing
- Event planning
- Book-keeping oversight
- Format and layout of reports and documents

**About you**:

- An organised individual with a problem-solving approach to tasks
- Skilled in MS Office
- desirable but not essential
- Willingness to learn and a team player
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous administration or receptionist experience is valuable but not essential
