About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Coordinator to join the dynamic and diverse team at Hamilton Centre. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for day to day project management of a diverse range of new initiatives and participate in improvement areas to improve organisational systems and processes. This role is mainly based in Richmond and offers work/life balance flexibility. You will have an opportunity to work with Australia’s leading clinical and sector leaders to deliver initiatives within the health service.
About you
What you will be doing
End-to-end project management that includes embedding project governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement and proactively monitor and report on deliverables both internally and externally.
Develop project plans in consultation with internal and external stakeholders
Conduct project risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure effective project management
Work collaboratively with the communications team to develop and implement communications plans
Represent the organisation at project implementation meetings with external stakeholders as required
Reporting and administrative task
What you will bring
Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience managing projects and initiatives
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement with proven ability to strategically engage, negotiate and influence others to achieve outcomes
Demonstrated strong administration skills with report writing or demonstrated ability to learn on the job
Well organised, accountable and with a positive attitude
‘Can-do’ approach with flexibility to support the team and manager with ad-hoc/priority tasks
Experience and/or qualifications in project / initiative management within a mental health, AOD, family or community health context - highly desirable
Attributes
High attention to detail and experienced in presentation and report writing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management and strong analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated behaviours consistent with Eastern Health values
