**About the Role**

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for maximising total revenue potential for Hyatt Regency Brisbane across all market segments. You will be a dynamic & energetic leader with a focus on developing & mentoring your 3 direct reports. You will also ensure our revenue goals are met in line with Hyatt’s strategic priorities, whilst meeting colleague, client, and owner expectations.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Undertake weekly sales, prospective, and account management calls
- Drive revenue and increase market share across all market segments
- Have a strong strategic understanding of market opportunities and future trends
- Assist with daily management, development and leadership of a sales team
- Attend sales trips to key market cities
- Attend major travel and trade shows and corporate functions to promote the hotel
- Work with Director of Sales & Marketing and Sales Team to convert all incoming leads
- Maintain complete records of all sales agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotel
- Ensure all Hyatt standards relating to sales, profitability and marketing are followed
- Assist the Sales & Events Executives in the planning and execution of events

**To be successful in this role, ideally you will have**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a Sales Manager role is essential. Experience within a hotel environment is preferred.
- Proven experience leading & developing a team
- High level of both written and verbal communication
- Experience with Envision is highly regarded
- Flexibility around working days and hours as required by the business
- High level of both written and verbal communication
- Ability to work to tight deadlines when required
