Ongoing temporary contract with a well-known organisation for a self-starter to grow and develop CBD location.
Our client is a reputable organisation in need of a dedicated Payroll Administrative Assistant to support their payroll team This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in payroll administration and join a collaborative, large team environment.
You will provide crucial support to the payroll team, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll. Your responsibilities will include chasing up paperwork, data entry, reconciliations, and working closely with the senior team to meet payroll deadlines.
With offices based in the heart of the city, you will have an easy and central commute, with an ongoing temporary opportunity with a company who supports and develops their staff.
- This role is being offered on an initial temporary basis, so you must be immediately available to commence work. _
**Key Responsibilities**
- Chasing up paperwork, including leave forms, to ensure timely processing.
- Accurate data entry into spreadsheets and payroll systems.
- Bringing together data from various sources to assist with payroll reporting.
- Working closely with the senior team to provide administrative support.
- Checking numbers and performing reconciliations in Excel.
- Utilising MS Suite and advanced Excel skills for various tasks.
- Demonstrating a keen attitude to learn and get involved in payroll processes.
- Approaching problem-solving with a mature attitude and high attention to detail.
**About You**
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in payroll or finance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of numeracy.
- Proficiency in MS Suite and advanced Excel skills.
- Exposure to Ascender software is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
