**_ Your motivation, interpersonal skills, and expertise as a Community Engagement Officer (Careers) will see you excel in this role as you:_**
- Provide high quality and engaging employment information to communtiy members/job seekers that informs and improves career aspirations and outcomes
- Provide targeted, intensive one to one support for job seekers to achieve sustained employment outcomes and career success
- Develop employer networks and partnerships to improve career pathways and employment opportunities
- Work with Himilo management to set and achieve ambitious and valuable KPIs in relation to successful employability and employment outcomes
- Engage with the broader organisation to collaborate and create innovative supports and solutions to employment barriers

**_ What you will need: _**
- Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) and National Police Check
- A strong interest in employment services and willingness to develop skills in this area
- Experience in working with people from all ages and CALD backgrounds
- Sound interpersonal skills, communication skills, organisational skills and time management skills

**_ Desirable skills/experience: _**
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a relevant field to the position
- Experience providing capacity building support or employment services
- Experience in working with people from all ages and CALD backgrounds
