**About the opportunity**
We are seeking a Clinical Research Fellow to spearhead and contribute to top-tier clinical research for people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). This role involves both commercial and investigator-led clinical trials and observational research, as well as engaging in consumer driven, translational research activities.
**What you’ll do**:
- Play a key role in the research, development, delivery and reporting of clinical trials undertaken by the MS Research Flagship and Centre of Research Excellence.
- Perform participant recruitment, clinical and neurological assessments, research outcome assessments and delivery of trial interventions.
- Build and maintain productive links within the University and MS community, and with external collaborators and stakeholders locally, nationally and internationally.
- Conduct high-quality research with national and international impact, secure funding, publish findings, and supervise research students to meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Adhere to research conduct guidelines, ethical standards, and sponsor requirements.
- Promote and develop the MS Research Flagship and Centre of Research Excellence through active consumer and community involvement.
- Contribute effectively to the University’s strategic goals and operational duties.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Must be a registered medical practitioner with APHRA or eligible for registration in Australia; a PhD is highly desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated research ability in relevant fields (e.g., neurology, MS, chronic disease, epidemiology, translational medicine, public health, or general practice) with a strong or developing academic record.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining productive collaborations and links within the discipline, profession, industry, government, and wider community.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
