**About the role**

As a Portfolio Manager, you will lead a team to maximise quality sales in both commodity and non-commodity products. Leading from the front, you will also set the bar and standard for what good account management looks like by managing a select group of your own accounts. Partnering with customers on their journey to Net Zero, you will identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans with other Portfolio Managers for filling them. You will devise analytical insights into workload management and look for ways to improve day to day operations. We are looking for an inspiring Sales Leader who is passionate about helping our customers decarbonise, developing team members and partnering closely with their clients to provide a positive and tailored customer experience throughout their contract journey.

**Duties**
- Lead a develop a team of Account Managers and manage performance towards sales targets and lead generation for commodity and non-commodity products
- Introduce operational changes, campaigns and initiatives to ensure the team is well equipped to provide positive customer interactions
- Grow Origin Zero by partnering with Business Customers to shift to more tailored and flexible energy solutions (i.e. Origin Go Zero, Solar, Greenpower, EV etc)
- Champion the evolving processes and products with your client base
- Manage and resolve customer enquiries and issues through the contract lifecycle

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in a similar Portfolio Manager or Direct Sales Manager role ideally in the energy sector
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or Similar disciple (preferred)
- Proven experience developing, supporting and managing a sales team
- Proven understanding of commercial energy solutions (e.g. Solar, Flexibility Services, Storage and Electric Vehicle) Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
