**About the role**:
**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Maintain employee master file on the computerised payroll system (SAP)
- Reconcile staff purchases and authorized deductions for all employees
- Attend to various payroll deductions, eg: AMIEU, Bupa etc. Maintain deduction authorities and remit funds on a monthly basis
- Ensure that employee pays are processed in line with timelines required by the business to meet cut offs
- Reconcile general ledger accounts applicable to the payroll on a monthly basis and prepare journal entries as required.
- Provide support to the plant’s HR team by providing reports, interpreting employment instruments and supporting other processes eg Recruitment, Workers Compensation etc.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to process large volumes of data.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.

**About you**:

- An appropriate qualification desirable but not a must.
- Experience in a similar role, minimum 2 years
- Previous experience in SAP and Kronos ideal but not essential.
- Organizing and planning skills, ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated efficiency with computers and Microsoft packages.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
