We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join one of Australia's largest FMCG company's. This is a 5-month contract with the potential to Perm or extend. You will work in a team to ensure the timely processing of multiple pay runs for over 12500 staff across the organisation.

**What you will be doing**
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate payment processing for all pay runs.
- Extracting Information onto Kronos
- Configuring and creating rosters
- Maintain payroll system integrity by understanding and suggesting improvements to the end-to-end payroll process.
- Interpret and comply with industry Enterprise Agreements, awards, and NES regulations.
- Calculate pay, redundancy estimates, and other figures with precision.
- Handle ATO and third-party payments and address any related issues.
- Understand the impact of payroll transactions on the accounting system.
- Generate payroll reports for various stakeholders and develop new reports as needed.

**About you**
- 3-5+ years’ experience in a payroll role, accounting or payroll qualification.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to industry Enterprise Agreements, awards and NES
- Ability to calculate pay calculations, redundancy estimates and other calculations to ensure accuracy.
- Solid understanding of how payroll transactions are reflected in the accounting system
