Administration Assistant

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
**Operations**
- Respond to and manage membership inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to members and potential members.
- Assist with the administration and coordination of ARCS's events and programs as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date records and databases, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of member information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support various administrative tasks and projects.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate effective communication within the organisation and with external stakeholders.
- Assist with processing memberships and other payments, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
**Quality Assurance and Risk Management**
- Adhere to organisational policies and procedures to maintain high standards of administrative support and customer service.
- Identify and address potential issues or inquiries that may arise, ensuring a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies**
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a membership-based or not-for-profit organisation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage professionally with members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems.
- A commitment to providing high-quality customer service and support.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- A positive attitude
**Travel Requirements**
- Attendance at ARCS events to coordinate venue and event activities and assist with registration desk enquires. Local and interstate travel may be required.
**How to Apply**
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
