**About the Role**
The Virtual Content Specialist - Screen is a crucial member of the LED volume team within the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, responsible for advancing virtual production technologies in educational and creative contexts. The incumbent will develop and maintain workflows for virtual production, collaborating closely with colleagues to enhance teaching and creative use of these technologies, while also playing a key role in the operational delivery and technical support of artistic programs.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with students and researchers to develop digital assets for real-time production, optimising pipelines for teaching virtual production techniques.
- Research and document new processes to facilitate effective use of the LED volume studio, implementing technologies to maximize its potential.
- Provide production and pre-production support, ensuring cohesive visual style across projects and conducting tests to verify performance aligns with production requirements.
- Manage technical maintenance and documentation of LED volume studio technologies, innovate new tools and techniques, and collaborate with academic staff to publish innovative solutions in virtual production.

**Who We Are Looking For**
You will be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills and professional organisational abilities to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines. You should possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and interact effectively with various stakeholders, along with a keen interest in research and development in digital and virtual production.

You will also have:

- Completion of a Film related or Interactive Media degree (or equivalent) with significant relevant industry experience or a combination of relevant experience and education and training.
- Strong technical proficiency with real-time production technologies, including LED volume setups.
- Extensive experience leveraging a diverse set of technologies to achieve real-time creative outcomes.
- High level of experience with Mac and Windows operating systems.
