To continue our success, we are looking for a **Senior Remote Sensing Analyst** to work in the Spatial and Data Team to support and undertake BMT's consultancy works across a variety of marine science and engineering disciplines.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Provide expert remote sensing and GIS advice and support, data analysis and cartographic presentation to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Undertake project management, budget preparation and maintenance, client liaison and report preparation.
- Create innovative yet commercially focused marine remote sensing solutions to deliver quality project and organisational outcomes.
- Assist with business development initiatives by preparing proposals, client networking and relationship development, maintaining an awareness of emerging marine remote sensing techniques and software solutions and attending industry-related events.
- Provide in-house training and contribute to activities relating to staff development, strategic planning, and business improvement.
- Assist with populating (including commissioning capture where required) and maintenance of BMT's spatial library and other administrative tasks as required.

**What you bring to the team**:

- A tertiary qualification in Remote Sensing or relevant degree qualification.
- Minimum five years’ work experience delivering solutions and project outcomes utilising remote sensing and spatial technologies.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain productive relationships.
- High level of competency in project management and proven experience in meeting deadlines to deliver high quality project outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to provide support, training and mentoring to other team members in industry recognised best practice basic and advanced remote sensing and spatial processes and software programs.
- Permanent Australian residency (or Special Category Visa, allowing the holder to remain and work in Australia indefinitely).
- Demonstrated knowledge of related disciplines such as Photogrammetry, Hydrography, Marine science, Habitat mapping, Geospatial analysis and digital data delivery is highly desirable.
