About the opportunity
As a Community Engagement Manager, you will contribute to the success of Employment Plus Disability Employment Services (DES) program by developing and strengthening strategic partnerships with local community organisations, attracting eligible participants who are looking for assistance to find employment and represent EPlus at community partner events and job fairs.
- Increase commenced caseloads through various activities and relationship building in the community
- Establish, maintain and nurture strategic partnerships that support growth and enhanced servicing
- Facilitate collaboration between external partnerships and EPlus DES teams
- Coordinate community partner events and EPlus attendance at local events and market days
- Generate monthly Community Development reports outlining activities and progress
- Design an ESA profile and portfolio outlining opportunities and strategies for future tenders
- Compile partnership information within the relevant Portal
This is a 12-month, fixed term opportunity with a possibility to extend.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in business development, account management or B2B sales
- Proactively builds and sustains effective internal and external relationships
- Possesses highly developed influencing, negotiation, and communication skills
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills, managing competing demands within tight time-frames
- Capable of identifying, assessing, and developing new opportunities aligned with organisational plans
- Demonstrated understanding of disabilities and the disability support sector is desirable
- Prioritises client satisfaction, maintains a high standard or professionalism and delivers exemplary customer service
- A valid drivers license is required for this position
