Community Support Specialist

Mercy Community Services is seeking a skilled Community Support Specialist to join our team. This full-time position is based in Ipswich.
This role provides high-quality support and case management for families engaged in our services, focusing on highly vulnerable families. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience working with diverse client groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients in achieving their goals through quality service delivery and case management.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to identify client needs and develop effective solutions.
- Building and maintaining trusting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Supporting clients in developing life and personal skills.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Sound knowledge of the Queensland Child Protection system.
- Demonstrated intermediate computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
- A valid Queensland driver's license (Provisional Green or above).
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory notice in the legislatively required personal history check.
The salary range for this position is $85,126 - $91,588 per annum, plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options.
