What does it take to become a Civican?

Exciting new opportunity for a Housing Cx Consultant to join our team based in either Newcastle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney (location could be negotiable for the right person). You will be part of our Housing division, within our Local Government business unit and will be supporting a wide range of customers within Social and Community Housing across Australia and New Zealand. This is a customer facing role where you will play a key role in product implementation and consulting including the configuration and training of our housing products. You will be supporting Civica customers from initiation, execution to finalization, you will be instrumental to the end-to-end process.

Ideally, you will come with:
Previous experience within a customer facing role within community housing, property management, trust accounting or professional services role is a must. You will have a consultative background and exposure to community housing, or the real-estate property management sector is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional customer facing skills both in formal presentations and informal meetings
- Extensive knowledge of the Housing Market
- Experience of direct contact with customers.
- Working knowledge of a range of Microsoft Products including Word, Excel, Power Point, SQL, Project etc.
- Extensive knowledge of up-to-date policies for Social Housing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to inform and persuade others
- Ability to manage expectations and control change in an IT projects environment

A day in life
- To implement and configure Civica’s Housing Software in accordance with the Implementation Guidelines and agreed Project Plans to meet Customers’ Business Requirements.
- To advise Customers on best use of Civica’s Housing Software in line with their Business Requirements.
- To provide onsite and remote consultancy, services and support for Customers during implementation, post live, testing, training and on ad hoc basis in accordance with the agreed Civica Standard.
- Assist with development of Customer User Acceptance Test Plans.
- To document customers configuration requirements in respect of Civica’s Software.
- Provide prompt feedback and documentation to Team Leader, Project Manager, Customer Service Manager or other Civica Departments regarding issues arising from Consultancy delivered, including gaps in training, revision of plans, problems identified etc.
- When required, liaise directly with customers in advance of any consultancy days to organise and tailor time in line with their requirements.
- Attend and deliver presentations / demonstration to customers.
- Assist the Cx Project Manager in continuous improvement, by developing new approaches to consultancy days, documentation and other areas when required.
- Assist in the development of any new training courses and associated documentation and based on customer feedback recommend changes or improvements to training courses.
- Support and advise other team members and Civica Divisions with work related issues to ensure they are up to date with any software issues or changes and approaches to consultancy and to provide mentoring to colleagues.
- Deliver Revenue days and utilization set as target.
- Travel through Australia and New Zealand to Customer sites where required.
- To contribute to Product Management and Development, including producing or contributing to product specification, testing and recommendations for Product enhancements.
- Liaise with Civica Support and all other Divisions within Civica as required.
- Assist in other areas of Civica Business with client, software, technical solutions & testing.
