We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality & Compliance Officer at Perth Office CBD on a Permanent Part time basis.

**About this role**

As the Quality & Compliance Officer you will be responsible for ensuring that management and employees conform and comply with the Network Operations ISO9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and high work standards, to ensure that all activities meet or exceed all business goals, customer and regulatory requirements, Network Operations processes and procedures. This role is also responsible for conducting and facilitating Audits on a regular basis. Responsible for working with the business to identify, analyse and document business processes and requirements. You will also be responsible for:

- Management and maintenance of Western Power’s compliance obligations database for Network Operations as well as the monitoring, reporting and training tools
- Raising awareness of compliance issues and contributing to achieving the desired compliance culture and outcomes
- When required, providing timely and accurate compliance advice to support Western Power in meeting its compliance obligations
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to achieve appropriate quality and compliance solutions in a timely manner
- Assist in the preparation of internal audit schedules in collaboration with the business and external certification service provider;
- Conduct QMS audits and process reviews in accordance with the approved schedules;
- Report on audit outcomes with a business and risk focus;
- Provide assistance to all business units with regards to external standards requirements and their interpretation;
- Register and track improvement opportunities from audit activity to conclusion;
- Monitor and conduct spot checks as required;
- Assist with the management of external audits;
- Conduct interviews, workshops and walk-throughs with stakeholders to define requirements and document processes;
- Update processes and/or procedures with recommended changes.

**About you**

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

- A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a field related to Quality Management or Auditing -essential.
- 4 + years demonstrated experience in auditing - essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal clients; Able to handle situations in a diplomatic manner; Able to resolve sensitive problems while maintaining trust and diplomacy.
- Well-developed and strong experience in problem-solving, analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to identify and recommend process improvements.
- Strong organisational skills, time management and prioritising skills.
- Proficient in MS Office systems and Visio.
