About the Role

The YMCA WA is seeking a highly skilled Quality and Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our early childhood services division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Service Directors and Educators to understand and comply with policies, procedures, national laws, and regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct service-wide quality and compliance audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement quality and compliance strategies and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track and analyze compliance trends and changes to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee National Quality Standards, including food business licenses, grants, and prescribed information.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Quality Compliance, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a management or leadership position within the early childhood sector.
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place, Family Assistance law, and other relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practice.
  • Child Care Subsidy system requirements knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite.
