About the role

The Monitor Automate and Control (MAC) Value Stream identifies, monitors and supports development of controls to ensure that our product, processes and services are compliant, fit for purpose and operating effectively within acceptable risk tolerances.

The Business Compliance Manager is a newly created role to boost our team as we get closer to launching one of the ANZ Plus flagship, digital propositions.

You will join a highly engaged, multidisciplinary team of risk and compliance enablement specialists who think about compliance and risks differently, come up with commercial compliance solutions / controls and are trusted partners.

What will your day look like
Partner with your assigned Value Streams to develop a strong understanding of needs and priorities to ensure newly built propositions are fulfilling compliance responsibilities.
Collaborate in the design and delivery of automation and technology initiatives that improve the way we manage compliance obligations and monitor controls.
Enable efficiencies in compliance management and governance
Embed regulatory awareness, compliance management and escalation frameworks.
Manage regulatory change impacts to ANZx.
Review obligations and design controls that address relevant obligations and associated compliance risks.
Push the status quo with what’s possible, whilst keeping the safety and financial wellbeing of our customers at our core.
What will you bring?
Experience in business compliance, risk management, assurance and / or process improvement.
Skilled in identifying, communicating, designing and developing business-centric approaches or controls that comply with regulatory requirements.
Passionate about how technology can be applied to improve and automate the way compliance is managed and monitored.
Exposure to lending products or home loan domains will be an advantage.
Strategic thinker who demonstrates a strong record of execution and possesses a delivery-focused mindset.
Strong relationship-building skills to partner with senior stakeholders to design commercial solution options that meet its obligations and mitigate its risks.
Ability to adopt market trends, data and insights and optimise the way we work and make decisions
