Ventia’s Eastlink Alliance are seeking an Operations Delivery Manager to oversee management of the Road Operations and Traffic Department utilising modern, efficient management practices including effective, best practice management of customer relations and employees.- This is a permanent full-time position, based in Ringwood VIC.**Duties**:
- Manage the operation of EastLink by the management of traffic to ensure a smooth, safe and uninterrupted flow of traffic on a 24 hour basis.
- Providing EastLink customers with prescribed road services, including information via traffic management devices to maximise traffic free flow and minimise traffic disruptions.
- Supervise the Traffic Control Room operation & management of the Incident Response team and incident response services meeting required KPI’s.
- Identifying opportunities or deficiencies in operational practices to result in the improvement of service to EastLink customers.
- Liaising with VicRoads, Police, Metropolitan Fire Brigade and other emergency services when required to ensure all relevant procedures / protocols are carried out / observed promptly and efficiently, and that all incidents are reported.
- Develop training and evaluation requirements of both Traffic Control Room and Incident Response staff.
- Develop processes and monitor to ensure the TCR and Incident Response staff is adequately resourced.
- Assist with the scheduling, monitoring, procedures and set up of all planned traffic disruptions (maintenance works, major repairs, improvements and upgrading, etc).
- Assist with the reporting of traffic, incident and proficiency statistics to fulfil the Operators’ reporting obligations.
- Liaise with Alliance team members to assist with key Alliance deliverables.
**About You**
- Hold a Cert 4 in Tunnel and open Road Operations
- Experience in the Operation of OMCS computer systems.
- Hold a High level of skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Fully understand the requirements of the relevant OH&S and traffic / road rules legislation, in particular, the duties and responsibilities.
- Other conditions include:
- Domestic travel may be required from time to time
- Will be required to work outside normal business hours from time to time.
- Must be eligible to work in Australia (citizenship or visa sponsorship).
