**About the Role**

Reporting to the Deputy Director: UniSA Research Office (Operations), you will be responsible for providing expert research support and services to academic units, working with researchers to identify and develop opportunities to achieve diversification of funding. You will support the Dean of Research and Academic Units to facilitate and support core processes across the research lifecycle.

**About the UniSA Research Office**

The UniSA Research Office provides support for the management of research and administers internal and national competitive research grants and projects. It is also responsible for ensuring the responsible and ethical conduct of research and for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve the quality of the experience and outcomes for postgraduate research students.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and demonstrated skills and experience working in a senior level administrative or project role
- Understanding of research in a university or a similar environment, including systems and strategic directions in research
- Ability to build constructive relationships with researchers at different career stages and to identify opportunities for research and career development, along with opportunity development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively within a team
- Demonstrated ability to listen and assess the needs of clients, and experience in providing constructive feedback, advice and recommendations
