**The Client**:
Our client is currently undertaking a large system replacement of our Billing and Collection platform. An experienced data migration reconciliation lead is required to work with the business and migration teams to define and develop the data migration reconciliation processes to support both the technical, integrity and financial reconciliations go live. Initially offered until October 2023 the role has a strong likelihood of future extensions.

**The Role**:
- Design and build data migration Extract, Translation, Verification and Load platform reconciliation functionality.
- Assist with the development of unit test strategy and development of required unit tests to verify reconciliation-built function.
- Defect management related to the built data cleansing, migration, and reconciliation platform.
- Operating processes and related check lists to support a fully automated end to end data migration reconciliation function.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with all sub streams within the data quality and migration team including data and business analysts, consulting, testing and functional vendors to identify data reconciliation needs.
- Work with the business to identify data migration reconciliation requirements for data integrity verification and financial balancing.
- Conduct required analysis to understand the data extraction requirements to support legacy to migration system reconciliation.
- Work with the new system vendor to identify the methodology for extracting landed data and reconciling it back to the migration systems
- Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to be used to prepare data for source to migration system reconciliation.
- In consultation with the Vendor, develop the complete end to end reporting that proofs end to end system reconciliation.
- Develop the reconciliation procedures and check lists to be run by business nominated SME's during production readiness verification.
- Train and work with the business so they can independently conduct all required reconciliations and self-determine readiness for system commissioning.
**Required Skills & Specialisms**:
- Experience providing solutions for a wide variety of business problems, many of which require multi-platform solutions.
- At least 5 years of data integration (sourcing, staging, mapping, loading) experience, SSIS preferred.
- Strong stakeholder engagement that supports the development of both data integrity and financial reconciliation requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in reconciliation of subsidiary systems to control accounts within the general ledger.
- Experience working in a hybrid mode of capturing requirements though to design and potentially development of migration reconciliation processes at a technical, data integrity and financial level.
- Specialised experience in the development of data reconciliation methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with an enterprise-class integration tool such as SSIS, Informatica, Ab Initio, Data Stage.
- Demonstrated experience working in a team development environment using an IDE.
