**The Role**:
Maxima, and Wyndham City Council, are looking for a driven individual to undertake a Business Traineeship as a First Nations Unit Business Trainee within the Community Development Department.

Throughout this 12-month, Fulltime Traineeship you will work alongside the First Nations Unit to provide key business support and you will gain hands-on experience, paid training and continuous mentoring towards gaining a nationally recognised
**Certificate III in Business**.

**Duties Include**:

- Assist several key functions relating to the Reconciliation Action Plan and cultural capacity building
- Support strategic initiatives and support the design and implementation of outcomes
- Provide business support; including customer service and record management
- Assist with the development of documents using Microsoft Office
- Learn council systems and processes and support the day to day operations

**About You**:

- Identify as First Nations Australian
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
- Interest and commitment to working respectfully with Aboriginal community groups and organisations.
- Current National Police and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
