**Description**

The Clinical Governance Lead within the dynamic Health Services Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare services. Reporting directly to the Head of Health Services, this individual oversees subcontractor compliance with the Clinical Governance Framework.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Act as the point of contact for Clinical Suppliers/Clinical Governance Officer
- Log and manage clinical incidents and healthcare complaints efficiently
- Update and maintain clinical governance-related policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
- Manage credentialing waivers effectively and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

**Profile**

**Qualities We're Looking For**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proven track record of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

**Desired Skills and Attributes**:

- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality improvement, audit practices, and risk management within healthcare settings
- Experience in handling clinical incidents and healthcare complaints and updating related policies and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic reporting systems such as RiskMan, Protecht, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability to conduct quality assurance checks and manage credentialing waivers effectively
- Location: Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne (preferred locations)
