Wyndham Early Learning Family Day Care is seeking to employ a Diploma qualified in early childhood education and care to join our small boutique friendly team. This position is part time ( 2 days) and can lead into more hours and days.

**FAMILY DAY CARE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED**

We are seeking to appoint a professional family day care coordinator/ for our eastern suburbs area. The office is located in Wyndham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional to progress in their career.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Reliable car
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in an early childhood setting
- First Aid - Asthma training and Anaphylaxis training
- Working with children card
- Police check within 6 months old
- Child Protection Training
- English fluency a must
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework - including the approved frameworks (EYLF, VEYLDF, MTOP)
- The ability to motivate, inspire and mentor educators
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written
- Strong understanding of the Child Protection Laws, including the Child Safe Standards.
- Strong understanding of The Education and Care National Law (2010) and Regulations (2011)

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Managing educators in the eastern suburbs on a regular basis
- Support and mentoring our child care Educators in their homes
- Liaise with parents and relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies and procedures
- Ensure Educator's provide quality childcare at all times
- Ensure educators are compliant and following the regulations and law
- Engaging and supporting children and families within our service
- Looking for a passionate self-driven successor that wishes to work flexible days and hours
- You will have ongoing support from the coordination office.
- You will be working alongside an experienced dedicated team to provide the best outcome for our educators and families.

- Ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically
- Ability to work positively and constructively within a team
- Responsive to the needs of parents, children and Educators
- Self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Strong understanding of the EYLF
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework
- Possess excellent computer skills
- Be highly competent in the preparation and facilitation of the QIP, and our Policies and Procedures.
- Build the skills and capability of the educators with quality program delivery and regular training and development opportunities
- Facilitate our growth through recruting of new Family Day Care Educators
