As a managed IT service provider specialising in pharmaceutical and biotechnology verticals, we work closely with our clients to ensure that when it comes to IT, the tail is not wagging the dog We have been so successful in putting smiles on our clients' faces, that we are in the position of needing more great people to join our expanding team.
We are looking for someone to work alongside our team of dedicated professionals in our fast paced and dynamic environment - someone who will grow with us, as we continue to develop our organisation.
**THE ROLE**
We are looking for a Helpdesk & Systems Support Officer with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a newly created role offering a diverse career development path, on the job training and a strong team environment.
The position entails:
- Prioritising jobs and dealing with initial customer support requests.
- _Remote_ support for workstations, servers, and cloud environments.
- Daily monitoring of our customer’s infrastructure, with maintenance performed as required.
- Preparing new equipment for on-site deployment.
- Updating technical documentation.
You will be utilising best practice technologies to deliver IT support to new and existing customers. This is a terrific opportunity for someone to work in such a varied role.
**TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS**
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following skills:
- Some experience with _Remote_ Management and Monitoring (RMM) tools and Ticketing Systems.
- Experience in all current Microsoft and Apple desktop operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in managing Microsoft 365.
