About the role

As the ANZx Division Early Talent Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future talent pipeline of our organisation, nurturing ambitious professionals and ensuring their successful integration into our technology and product teams.

This is a new role created to support ANZx graduates and interns on their rotations and eventual transition into the business.

What will your day look like

Work closely with the enterprise Careers Program Product Owner, Talent & Culture and Line Managers to ensure a cohesive experience.

Represent ANZx and participate in wide reaching, multi-channel recruitment campaigns.

Collaborate with university partners, organise events and promote our early talent program.

Meet with ANZx leaders to understand their needs and align early talent placements accordingly.

Set up and manage rotations that are suitable for the business and complimentary to the grads and interns career aspirations.

Provide ongoing guidance and support, address queries and help the grads and interns navigate their professional journeys.

Review and update individual development plans, ensuring they align with the capability, goals and aspirations of each early talent member.

Organise knowledge-sharing sessions or training workshops to enhance the skill sets of early talent.

Review program metrics and prepare reports on early talent performance, retention, and program effectiveness.

What will you bring?

Proven experience in capability, talent management, early careers programs, or graduate recruitment, preferably within technology or digital.

Strong understanding of technology (for e.g. software engineering) and the skills required for various roles within the field.

Performance management and people leadership skills, you don’t shy away from constructive and sometimes tough conversations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Analytical mindset and data lead decision making skills, to track and evaluate program effectiveness.

Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively

You’re good at navigating ambiguity within broad boundaries and creating order out of chaos.

Creative and innovative, so you can contribute to continuous improvement to make our grad programs the number one choice.
