The opportunity
As the Manager Performance Reporting - Group FP&A, your role is an integral part of the management reporting team; analysing data, producing reports and providing key insights to support effective decision making by the wider business.
In this role you will be responsible for the collation and analysis of various components of the Group performance from regular reporting routines; providing insights to senior stakeholders to enable continued business success.
This is a high-visibility role where you will interact with senior level stakeholders along with divisional finance teams to understand divisional results and their impact on the Group’s past and future performance.
Your new role- Support senior management in decision making by being a business partner to the Divisions and performing ad hoc analysis- Support the global process of the preliminary and actual results close, reporting of the result to the market, and quarterly business reviews- Support the development of the Group’s management reporting capability using data and technology- Utilise business knowledge and experience to challenge results and projected data analysis, presenting these to Finance leadership and advising on implications to drive strategic decision making- Present timely insights on YTD data on areas where budget and plans will potentially not be met and recommend remedial action
About you
As a high performing FP&A professional within insurance that loves variety, working on the unexpected and being hands-on, you will have the following skills and experience:
- A strong understanding of the insurance industry, its commercial drivers and competitor performance- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities and an ability to work independently and systematically through complex matters- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and experience in PowerBI particularly advantageous- An ambition and potential to develop into a leadership role- The ability to interact across a variety of functions and clearly communicate with all stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills- An excellent team player with a continuous improvement mindset
