**The Role**:
As the Marketing and Communications Officer, you will work closely with the team to provide detailed information to the parents of the students by updating their intranet, website, social media and a fortnightly newsletter.

The school also holds events that you may occasionally be required to participate in outside normal business working hours.

**The Role**:

- Responsible for creating the content and photos for the fortnightly newsletter.
- Assist with coordinating events such as open mornings.
- Inbox management and sending out mail mergers.
- Proof-reading and editing school publications and newsletters.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain articles for the newsletter.
- Take photos of daily activities in the school
- Write and edit content to post on social media platforms.
- Collate reports and update the company website.
- Understand and follow marketing and copyright guidelines.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Communication, journalism, marketing qualification or similar
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent organisation skills both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and use own initiative.
- Previous experience working in a professional corporate environment or related.
- Strong interest and experience in writing and editing.
- Design experience would be an advantage but not essential.
