Our client is a well-respected recycling service that has been in business for over 20 years, they collect, and store all used paper and cardboard materials from the landfills and turn them reusable resources. To this end, they are currently on the search for an experienced hands-on leader, to join their team as an **Operations Supervisors.**

If successful, for this role you will be required to:

- To oversee the recycling facility, manage and lead day to day operations.
- To ensure that the facility is operating safely, efficiently, and profitable. Overseeing all aspects of the plant's operations, including production, maintenance, safety, and quality control.
- Developing and implementing strategies to optimize plant efficiency and increase productivity.
- Maintaining an effective team communication.
- Training and managing staff members, ensuring a high level of productivity and employee engagement.
- Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Continuously improving processes and procedures to enhance plant performance and efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:

- Must have experience in a recycling plant
- Current LF Forklift license
- Current driver's license
- Excellent time management skills
- Can do attitude.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
- Effective Written and Verbal communication skills
- The ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities.
