**Your Impact**
You will aim to achieve better outcomes by delivering sourcing activities and proposing innovative ways to reduce costs and deliver budgeted savings. In addition you will strive to improve the quality and service level from the supplier base and innovate on process/systems/route to market to make Asahi Beverages more competitive. By doing so, Asahi Beverages can enhance its position in the market and achieve sustainable growth.
**Key responsibilities**

- To develop and deploy a new category management strategy that delivers our mid term goals.
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand internal business requirements and determine and develop best sourcing and category management strategy
- Ensure the category delivers the forecast benefits derived from sourcing initiatives and to drive further category productivity over the term of the contract
- Innovate on and challenge all current internal business requirements to offer optimised approach to buying and new ways of working that will improve productivity and enhance customer experience
- Participate in budgeting activity for the next financial year based on existing agreements and built in cost increase/decrease
- Propose continuous improvement opportunity of either systems/process as they relate to the Procurement sourcing process
- Be responsible for the end to end sourcing activity including negotiations and approval of recommendations
- Support and/or lead the implementation of supplier relationship management to deliver performance management, continuous improvement and innovation objectives.
**About You**
With solid experience in Sourcing or Procurement roles, you will have a demonstrated achievement of improvements, and management of customer/supplier relationships, within an FMCG supply chain environment with a high analytical component.
Exposure to transformation projects within a highly complex environment would add value to this role.
In addition, you will have;
- Extensive supply chain experience developed across either operational, cross functional, or transformational roles
- Well developed analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, combined with well developed people leadership & influencing skills
- An understanding of change management practices
