Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our Retail Accessories team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the product lifecycle and performance management of our categories.

You will support the success of our broader team by growing profitable category sales, maintaining strong customer relationships, providing critical performance insights, and optimising inventory performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to communicate our portfolio offerings, including comparison with competitors, ensuring regular updates via comprehensive presentations to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the competitiveness of our accessories offering, achieve sales targets, and align with overall category objectives.
  • Manage product ranging and lifecycle processes, including NPI and EOL processes.
  • Drive development strategies for product categories and exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
  • Analyse data and market insights to determine industry and customer trends.
  • Support continuous improvement of forecasting processes.
  • Liaise with product management teams to expand product categories, determine competitive pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Analyse and report on category performance – proactively identifying areas of risk and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with other Likewize departments, including Supply Chain, Operations, Channel Sales, Likewize Accessories Retail Team, and Finance.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of retail experience across category/sales/trade marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to think analytically to understand business problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
