**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Midwifery in the Home (MIITH) Department provides community care 7 days a week. It is a dynamic and fast paced unit lead by a team of senior midwives that ensure and facilitate the continuing support and care for our families out in their local communities.
- 0.3 EFT permanent AMUM
- Midwifery in the home midwives provide ongoing care of the women and infants following discharge home
- Join an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a responsive and flexible service to woman and their families
- The AMUM is responsible for a combination of performing daily home or ward visits as well as maintaining operational planning of the department to ensure efficient patient flow into the service and timely follow up of care is provided to our women and babies.

Are you an experienced leader with a drive to support and care for our families as they transition into their communities in the postnatal period? If so, this is the team you want to join.
- Previous leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Midwife in Postnatal and or Community Midwifery
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife
- Ability to work within a team as well as work autonomously and independently
- Ability to lead, communicate, mentor, time manage, problem solve and escalate clinical care
- Enthusiasm, passion and motivation to lead a team.
- Current Full Victorian drivers licence
