**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Commercial & Events, this Sydney-based role will provide the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Commercial & Events administrative support, supporting multiple, crucial functions across the business. This position requires organisational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to handle complex responsibilities with confidentiality and efficiency. The Operations & Commercial Assistant is a key partner in managing the executives’ time, communications, as well as enabling key projects and overall workflow to run smoothly.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Managing diaries for direct managers
- Providing administrative support to the Heads of supporting their departments including: Finance, Procurement, Office Management, Government & International Relations, Commercial & Events.
- Manage Credit Card, Purchase Orders and Visa acquittals on behalf of direct managers
- Managing the travel and accommodation for direct managers
- Coordinate meetings and track key deliverables with internal and key external stakeholders including host governments and commercial partners
- Assist Office Manager when required
- Assist Executive Assistant to CEO Office for adhoc events
- Assist Procurement Manager with Business Travel accounts and booking systems
- Arrange and coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries around key events and matches for FA staff.

**ABOUT YOU**

**Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in an administrative support role or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience dealing with senior stakeholders / business leaders / VIPs
- Understanding and proven record of professional discretion and confidentiality

**Additional Requirements**:

- Full working rights in Australia
- Working with children check (paid/ employee) or state
- based equivalent
- Out of hours and weekend work as required
