**The opportunity**
The purpose of this role is ensure the Bank’s mortgage product offerings and services are meeting the Bank’s existing customers needs to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. This role will ensure appropriate retention strategies are in place and that the Bank is retaining home loan customers at an appropriate return on capital.

**How you will make an impact**
- Work with Data and Reporting and Finance to ensure appropriate measurement of profitability of existing customers is in place
- Ensure Retention team pricing tool reflects appropriate return on capital for use in discounting existing customers
- Work with retention team to deliver Proactive Retention Strategy (in particular Elula) and to drive improvements in Reactive Retention offers and strategy
- Work with other areas to assess appropriateness of products, policies, processes and promotion against defined key target markets
- Work with Data and Reporting Team, Credit Risk Team, Customer Analytics and Marketing to create datasets and campaigns to retain customers
- Understand customer/broker segments and behaviours; collaborate with Customer Analytics team to utilise various trigger points for retention and top up offers
- Represent the Product Team in any projects, initiatives, campaigns and technology improvements related to Existing Customers and Portfolio
- Drive the next phase of retention of customers rolling off from Fixed Rate and Interest Only repayment terms to their next loan lifecycle stage
- Analyse existing portfolio and engage with other Product Manager New business to optimise business to be acquired

**What you will bring to the role**
- 3 years+ experience in Financial Services/Banking
- Business report writing
- Mortgage Product Management in a Bank, ADI or specialist banking service provider
- Ability to manage/coordinate stakeholders, including those more senior
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to express ideas and concepts clearly, effectively and with meaning, and to a variety of audiences
- Demonstrated drive and achievement focus.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Collaborative, teamwork and leadership
- Risk management
