**About the Team**
Respiratory Medicine has a unique and comprehensive spectrum of expertise in Australia across clinical and basic allergy and advanced adult lung diseases, including severe asthma, emphysema, interstitial lung diseases, sleep apnea, cystic fibrosis and lung transplantation.
Respiratory Medicine four Clinical Services, supported by the Bronchoscopy Service and the Physiology Service (including the Lung Function Laboratory).
**About the Role**
The Administration Team Leader supports the day to day running and supervision of our Respiratory clinic administrative team including task allocation, cover arrangements for short term absences, rostering and maintain of Kronos record and approval.
Additional duties include reception and clerical tasks to support and assist the day-to-day function of Respiratory Medicine clinics.
**Duties**
- Provide leadership and direction to Respiratory Medicine clinic administration staff.
- Support the EA to Director / Department Coordinator and EA / HR Coordinator with implementing changes to Clinic administration procedures
- Participate in the Program and Alfred Health (where relevant) Quality Improvement activities
- Complete weekly roster for the team to meet the daily requirements of the department
- Other duties relevant to the role as delegated by line managers
**Skills & Experience**
**Highly Desirable**: Previous Supervisor experience in a health setting
**_Desirable_**
- Demonstrated computer proficiency including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel (foundational), Kronos and e-Hub.
- Sound administrative experience - Hospital environment preferred but not essential
- Personable, customer focused approach, and commitment to high quality service
- Understanding of confidentiality and privacy legislation
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Demonstrated ability to plan work flow, prioritise and delegate in order to meet deadlines.
