Role purpose
The Manager Environmental Sustainability has responsibility for leading the Victorian Health Building Authority's (VHBA) work on delivering sustainable and resilient health care capital projects. The role will drive systemic change to embed sustainability and climate adaptation into VHBA's project management framework.
The role will provide technical advice to key stakeholders during the project's lifecycle from masterplan through to detailed design and capture benefits of building sustainable and resilient hospitals. The role will develop and maintain comprehensive technical guidance on sustainability in capital works and represent VHBA on relevant working groups and forums.

**Qualifications**:

- A qualification in energy, engineering, or a related discipline would be highly regarded.

Technical expertise
- Demonstrated experience and understanding in environmentally sustainable design in social infrastructure projects and the ability to critically review technical documents and drawings.
- Understanding of energy modelling, energy requirements in the Building Code
