**What you will be doing**:
Reporting to our Executive General Manager Retail and based in Sydney or Melbourne, your role will be to achieve growth for the division by leading best practices in innovation and focusing on how we develop Visy’s future in retail.

This is stand-alone, hands-on role and your key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

- Collaborating to achieve innovative outcomes for Visy Retail across all required stakeholders including Retailers, Divisions, and Suppliers to create value through a steady pipeline of new product and business ideas
- Taking Ownership of specific retail concepts and driving Visy Retail approaches, processes and systems to identify compelling business case recommendations
- Lead implementation of new business cases for Visy Retail by formalising virtual teams, partnering with the Divisions and Customers
- Evaluating options for Visy Retail to ‘build’ or ‘buy’ for future growth

**Your background**:

- Very strong commercial and strategic acumen particularly in a Retail or FMCG (Retail-facing) environment
- Broad experience across innovation, procurement and/or strategy in a FMCG or Retail environment
- Strong understanding of M&A disciplines and/or capital management
- Functional understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and/or retail value chain
- Skilled negotiator and passionate self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
- Outstanding at relationship building, collaborating and communicating by making the complex seem simple.
