We are working with a large household name Corporate that is undertaking a significant shift in its procurement model. This business is looking to implement a best practice category management model that delivers improved value across all spend areas, underpinned by innovative supplier/ market strategies.

This role will be influential in building a procurement centre of excellence. It sits within the leadership team, focussing on long term enhancement of the following areas.
- procurement operations.
- category strategy development.
- Insightful analytics
- spend management.
- supplier performance.
- project management of capability uplift.
- ERP upgrade.

By working across senior stakeholder groups from technology to finance and with direct interface with Executives, this position will drive category performance across the procurement function. This will be achieved by developing a set of performance KPIs that are aligned with overall business strategy whilst also motivating the team to excel and achieve its ambition to be a true partner to the business.

To be considered for this role, you will offer demonstrable skills across
- At least 5 -9 years working in procurement as a senior analyst or consultant.
- development of annual procurement plans.
- development of KPI scorecards and spend reports.
- analytical thinking and presentation of C suite reports.
- exposure to transformation environments including performance management implementation.

This a vibrant and commercially challenging role, offered on an initial 12-month contract. This initial engagement is very likely to extend into a permanent role.
