Launch is working with a leading Victorian Government Organisation to bring a Procurement Specialist in a contract position. The right person for the role, will be someone wanting to work in a collaborative team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
**The Role**:
The Procurement Specialist leads and drives procurement activities and projects throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for the establishment and management of strategic, business-critical contracts for goods and services.
- Provide Procurement Support
- Lead development of the annual procurement/business unit plan
- Manage commercial evaluations, supplier negotiations
- Communicate with Stakeholders
- Maintain and develop the procurement projects register.
- Deliver and lead the strategic sourcing and category initiatives through to tender and contract award.
- Lead the supplier performance management activities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies with organization and Victorian Government align.
**Requirements**:
- Work experience in areas/activities relevant to specific business unit (e.g. infrastructure, construction procurement)
- Prior understanding of Victorian Government procurement policies and processes.
- High competency level in spreadsheet and word processing software packages.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
