Victoria Police's LSD provides legal services and advice to support policing, courts, and the Victorian Community. The LSD is led by an Executive Director (who is also the organisation's General Counsel) and employs over 800 staff spread across four divisions - the Office of the Executive Director; the Specialist Legal and Litigation Division; the CPSD; and the Legal Business Operations Division.
This is an exciting opportunity to obtain valuable experience working in the Legal Services Department at Victoria Police within the Prosecution Support Branch, Tasking & Coordination Unit.

Duties will include the receipt of electronic referrals, preparation of agendas and taking minutes for committee meetings, electronic file movement and maintaining internal file management systems.
The successful incumbent will work in an office environment within a small team, directly reporting to the Tasking & Coordination Unit Manager, however, as the unit supports all three divisional branches they will be required to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders using their excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships and uphold the strong reputation of the Courts & Prosecution Services Division.
Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

This supports the Departments commitment to a flexible and deployable legal workforce and professional development opportunities in a range of legal domains.
