Your Role:
As the Asset Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for driving rolling stock asset management system improvement and maintaining compliance to standards. You will identify gaps, lead and deliver successful outcomes for asset management system initiatives, collaborating with multiple departments and leading cross-functional teams. Your expertise will ensure our operations align with regulatory requirements, including compliance with the Metro’s Franchise Agreement Asset Register, Schedule 10, and ISO audit standards. You will identify and lead the maintenance andenhancements of our asset management systems, ensuring they meet the operational requirements.

What We're Looking For:

- A visionary with a bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in fleet/manufacturing asset management systems and maintenance management in heavy industries, preferably in the aviation, transportation or railway sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful asset management strategies and changes that drive performance improvements and achieve business objectives.
- A change management maestro who is passionate about digitisation and technology, can navigate organizational transformations with finesse, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A data-driven problem solver who can unearth valuable insights from complex information, guiding decision-making processes with confidence.
- Effective leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of railway industry standards, including safety, maintenance, and asset management regulations and best practices.
- Project management experience, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
